AI agent for transport and logistics

The vehicles run all day and the margin stays thin. In transport the profit is decided by three things you only see when you put them together: what it really costs to keep a vehicle on the road, how many hours are paid waiting, and how long it takes between delivery and payment.

Vehicle cost

Fuel, maintenance, tyres, downtime: these arrive at different moments and are almost never added up per vehicle. The agent brings them back together vehicle by vehicle and shows you which ones cost more than they bring in.

Hours, waiting and shifts

Time standing at a loading bay is paid like time on the road, but nobody invoices it. The agent counts the hours that go that way and shows you where they keep repeating in the same place.

Payments and payment times

A trip done and not yet paid is work you have already carried in full. The agent watches how long passes between delivery and payment, and warns you when that time stretches with one customer in particular.

For this sector we propose:

  • Cost analysis
  • Margins and pricing
  • Sector comparison
  • Fleet and cost per delivery
  • Labour cost and shifts
  • Collections and receivables

How they are meant to be used

These are sector-specialised agents, tuned for a very low error rate within their field. They do not replace people who know the trade: they prepare the work, keep the figures current and flag what doesn't add up, then a competent person makes the decision. Outside its field an agent does not guess: it says the question isn't its own.

OPEX Score calculates the numbers, not the AI

The agent comments on and explains results the engine has already calculated: it does not invent them and does not estimate them. An AI that makes up a figure in a financial diagnosis is not an annoying defect — it is a reason never to trust it, or us, again. For the same reason every answer stays an indication and not tax advice: that comes from someone who knows your whole situation.

Available, on quote

Each agent is a separate service, on quote. Write to us with your sector: we tell you what it does in your case and what it costs.

Every agent is re-tested in a protected environment before it is handed over: it does not leave the door without being tried again.

The questions everyone asks us

Does it work with only a few vehicles?

Yes. With three vans a vehicle costing more than it brings shows on the month immediately, because there are not twenty others covering it. And a customer stretching payments becomes a cash problem fast when you have few customers.

What does it actually do with a fleet?

It brings together, vehicle by vehicle, costs that arrive at different moments — fuel, maintenance, tyres, downtime — and compares them with what that vehicle brings in. It counts the hours lost waiting at loading bays, and follows how long passes between delivery and payment.

Do I need tracking devices on the vehicles?

No. The agent does not track vehicles and does not need to: it works on the documents you already have — refuelling, maintenance, trips, invoices — and sets them beside one another.
